LOWERING TO 1 TO 3 FEET SATURDAY.

SURF ALONG EAST FACING SHORES WILL BE 2 TO 4 FEET TONIGHT... RISING
TO 3 TO 5 FEET SATURDAY.

SURF ALONG SOUTH FACING SHORES WILL BE 1 TO 3 FEET THROUGH SATURDAY.

OUTLOOK THROUGH THURSDAY APRIL 23:
THE CURRENT NORTHWEST SWELL WILL DECLINE THROUGH SATURDAY. A SMALL
NORTHWEST SWELL ARRIVING SUNDAY WILL HOLD INTO MONDAY AND GRADUALLY
DIMINISH THROUGH TUESDAY. ANOTHER SMALL NORTHWEST WILL ARRIVE
TUESDAY AND CONTINUE INTO WEDNESDAY. SWELL SHORT-PERIOD SURF ALONG
EAST-FACING SHORES WILL INCREASE SATURDAY NIGHT WITH NEAR ADVISORY
LEVEL SURF CONTINUING THROUGH MONDAY. BACKGROUND SOUTH SWELL WILL
CONTINUE THROUGH SUNDAY. AN INCREASE IN SOUTH SWELL IS DUE MONDAY
AS A SWELL GENERATED NEAR NEW ZEALAND ENTERS HAWAIIAN WATERS.

SURF HEIGHTS ARE FORECAST HEIGHTS OF THE FACE OR FRONT OF WAVES. THE
SURF FORECAST IS BASED ON THE SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHT...THE AVERAGE
HEIGHT OF THE ONE THIRD LARGEST WAVES...IN THE ZONE OF MAXIMUM
REFRACTION. SOME WAVES MAY BE MORE THAN TWICE AS HIGH AS THE
SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHT. EXPECT TO ENCOUNTER RIP CURRENTS IN OR NEAR
ANY SURF ZONE.
