TENNESSEE WEATHER SUMMARY FOR THE WEEK ENDING SUNDAY APRIL 19 2015

TENNESSEE EXPERIENCED ANOTHER ACTIVE PERIOD OF WEATHER FOR MUCH OF
LAST WEEK AS A SERIES OF FRONTS MOVED THROUGH THE STATE...PRODUCING
SEVERAL ROUNDS OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE STATE.

TEMPERATURES AVERAGED 5 TO 8 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL LAST WEEK ACROSS
TENNESSEE. AVERAGE HIGH TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE 70S WITH AVERAGE
LOWS MAINLY IN THE 50S. THE HIGHEST TEMPERATURE RECORDED LAST WEEK
WAS 82 DEGREES IN MEMPHIS LAST THURSDAY. MEANWHILE...THE LOWEST
TEMPERATURE RECORDED WAS 49 DEGREES IN BRISTOL LAST MONDAY.

PRECIPITATION AMOUNTS AVERAGED 0.03 INCHES ABOVE NORMAL ACROSS WEST
TENNESSEE...AND 1.90 TO 2.80 INCHES ABOVE NORMAL ACROSS THE
REMAINDER OF THE STATE. AVERAGE RAINFALL AMOUNTS RANGED FROM 1.20
INCHES ACROSS WEST TENNESSEE...AND 2.98 TO 3.72 INCHES ACROSS THE
REMAINDER OF THE STATE. THE HIGHEST AMOUNT OF RAINFALL RECORDED LAST
WEEK WAS 1.48 INCHES IN CLARKSVILLE ON SUNDAY.

THE REST OF APRIL SHOULD BRING NEAR NORMAL TEMPERATURES AND
PRECIPITATION.
