THE 27/00Z ECENS/GEFS AND THEIR DETERMINISTIC RUNS WERE IN VERY
GOOD AGREEMENT WITH THE CURRENT HAWAI`I FORECAST THROUGH DAY 7.

NEAR-TERM SENSIBLE WEATHER IS ASSOCIATED WITH A COLD FRONT
MIGRATION POISED TO EXIT THE EASTERN FRINGES OF THE FORECAST AREA
IN THE NEXT 24 HOURS. SURFACE HIGH AND RATHER SUBSTANTIAL
MID-LEVEL RIDGE---ON CUE---TO MIGRATE ACROSS THE CENTRAL PACIFIC
BEHIND THE FRONT---AND THROUGH THURSDAY WILL ENHANCE THE TRADEWIND
FLOW PATTERN.

BY FRIDAY (DAY 5), THE SURFACE RIDGE BEGINS TO MIGRATE
NORTHEASTWARD AND THE GRADIENT WINDS/TRADE WINDS SHOULD BE EASING
ACROSS THE FORECAST AREA.
