...WARMEST MARCH ON RECORD IN SALT LAKE CITY...

THE AVERAGE DAILY TEMPERATURE FOR MARCH 2015 WAS 49.7 DEGREES. THIS
BREAKS THE RECORD FOR THE MONTH OF MARCH OF 49.6 DEGREES SET IN 1910.
NORMAL FOR MARCH IS 43.6 DEGREES. THE AVERAGE MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE OF
61.6 DEGREES WAS SECOND ALL-TIME...WITH THE WARMEST 62.0 DEGREES SET
IN 1934. THE HIGH TEMPERATURES WERE ABOVE NORMAL FOR 25 DAYS IN MARCH
INCLUDING EVERY DAY FROM THE 6TH THROUGH THE 31ST...WITH THE EXCEPTION
OF MARCH 25TH.

THIS COMES ON THE HEELS OF THE WARMEST FEBRUARY ON RECORD FOR SALT LAKE
CITY...AS WELL AS THE WARMEST AND LEAST SNOWIEST WINTER ON RECORD.
