SKIES WERE MAINLY CLOUDY ACROSS NORTHERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHWEST
INDIANA LATE THIS MORNING. RAIN FELL DURING THE OVERNIGHT HOURS
AND CONTINUES THIS MORNING. OVER THE PAST 24 HOURS...OVER AN INCH
OF RAIN FELL...MAINLY TO AREAS WEST OF INTERSTATE 39. TEMPERATURES
WERE IN THE 60S LATE THIS MORNING.

A COLD FRONT WILL SLOWLY MOVE SOUTHEASTWARD ACROSS LAKE
MICHIGAN...STALLING ACROSS CENTRAL ILLINOIS AND INDIANA TONIGHT.
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE IN ASSOCIATION WITH THE
FRONTAL BOUNDARY THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF THE DAY. TEMPERATURES
WILL BE IN THE 70S INLAND...BUT ONLY IN THE MID TO UPPER 60S FOR
AREAS AROUND LAKE MICHIGAN. THE COLD FRONT THEN WILL RETURN
NORTHWARD AS A WARM FRONT ON TUESDAY. THIS ACTION WILL CONTINUE
THE CHANCES OF RAIN ACTIVITY INTO TUESDAY AFTERNOON. TEMPERATURES
ON TUESDAY WILL REMAIN IN THE 60S AND 70S INLAND BUT ONLY IN THE
50S AROUND LAKE MICHIGAN.
