* LOCATIONS...NORTHERN MOUNTAINS OF NORTH CAROLINA.

* HAZARDS...STRONG GUSTY WINDS.

* TIMING...WEST WINDS WILL BE INCREASING THROUGH THE AFTERNOON
  WITH GUSTS AROUND 35 MPH EARLY THIS AFTERNOON. THE WINDS WILL
  CONTINUE TO INCREASE WITH PEAK GUSTS EXPECTED AROUND 55 MPH LATE
  THIS AFTERNOON. THE WINDS WILL GRADUALLY SUBSIDE THIS EVENING.

* WINDS...WEST 20 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 55 MPH.

* IMPACTS...GUSTY WINDS MAY CAUSE DIFFICULT DRIVING CONDITIONS.
  ALSO...WITH THE GROUND STILL MOIST FROM RECENT HEAVY
