THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

ANTICIPATE INCREASING COVERAGE OF SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS
THROUGH THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS AS THE NEXT SET OF UPPER
LEVEL DISTURBANCES MOVES TOWARD SE TX. AVERAGE RAINFALL ACCUMULATIONS
BETWEEN NOW AND MIDNIGHT SHOULD BE BETWEEN 0.25-0.75" FOR MOST OF
THE AREA. BUT LIKE YESTERDAY LOCALIZED 3-4" AMOUNTS WILL BE A
POSSIBILITY WHERE ANY CLUSTERING OF STRONGER CELLS OCCUR. HEAVY
RAINFALL IN A SHORT TIME PERIOD CAN LEAD TO STREET FLOODING
ESPECIALLY IN METRO AREAS. THERE IS CONSIDERABLE UNCERTAINTY
REGARDING WHICH PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST TEXAS WILL BE MORE PRONE TO
THE HIGHER AMOUNTS...IF ANY MATERIALIZE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

UNSETTLED WEATHER WILL PERSIST THROUGH A GOOD PORTION OF THE WEEK AS
A CONTINUED SERIES OF HARD TO TIME UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCES MOVE
OVERHEAD AND TRIGGER SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS FROM TIME TO TIME.
WE WILL KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON THE SUNDAY THROUGH MONDAY AFTERNOON
TIME PERIOD WHEN THE CHANCES FOR LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN APPEAR TO BE
HIGHEST. STREET FLOODING ALONG WITH A RISE ON AREA RIVERS AND
CREEKS WILL BE A POSSIBILITY AS GROUNDS BECOME INCREASINGLY
SATURATED WITH TIME AND RUNOFF BECOMES AN ISSUE. RAIN CHANCES
SHOULD COME TO AN END BY FRIDAY WITH THE PASSAGE OF A COLD FRONT.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS NOT ANTICIPATED AT THIS TIME.
