THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL KANSAS...
SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS SOUTHEAST
KANSAS THIS AFTERNOON...AND ACROSS SOUTHERN KANSAS TONIGHT.
HOWEVER STRONG OR SEVERE STORMS ARE NOT ANTICIPATED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL PERSIST ON THURSDAY ACROSS MAINLY
SOUTHERN KANSAS...AND AREA WIDE THURSDAY NIGHT. STRONG STORMS
ARE POSSIBLE THURSDAY NIGHT. SMALL HAIL WOULD BE THE PRIMARY
THREAT.

AN EPISODE OF SEVERE WEATHER IS EXPECTED ON FRIDAY...MAINLY
DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING. WHILE LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING
WINDS WILL BE THE PRIMARY RISKS...THERE IS A RISK FOR SUPERCELL
STORMS WITH VERY LARGE HAIL AND TORNADOES ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL
AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS. PLEASE CHECK LATER OUTLOOKS AS THE RISK
AREA AND MAGNITUDE OF SEVERE WEATHER COULD CHANGE WITH LATER
FORECASTS.

THUNDERSTORMS COULD LINGER INTO SATURDAY...WITH MORE THUNDERSTORMS
POSSIBLE ON SUNDAY AND MONDAY. STRONG STORMS WITH SMALL HAIL AND
GUSTY WINDS ARE POSSIBLE SATURDAY ON SUNDAY AND MONDAY.
