SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVED NORTHEAST ACROSS NORTHWEST ARKANSAS
AND SOUTHERN MISSOURI TODAY WHILE THE REMAINDER OF THE AREA
EXPERIENCED CLEAR TO PARTLY CLOUDY CONDITIONS AND VERY MILD
TEMPERATURES. HIGHS TODAY RANGED FROM THE 60S ACROSS CENTRAL
MISSOURI TO THE LOW 90S OVER SOUTHWEST OKLAHOMA. CRITICAL FIRE
WEATHER CONDITIONS WERE COMMON ACROSS MUCH OF THE REGION.

A FAST MOVING STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE ACROSS THE NORTHERN PLAINS
TONIGHT BRINGING A CHANCE FOR STORMS ACROSS THE CENTRAL PLAINS ALONG
AN EASTWARD MOVING COLD FRONT.  LOW TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE FROM THE
MID AND UPPER 30S OVER THE HIGH PLAINS OF NORTHWEST KANSAS TO THE
LOW 60S ACROSS SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND EASTERN OKLAHOMA.

MORE SEASONABLE TEMPERATURES ARE ANTICIPATED ON THURSDAY WITH HIGHS
RANGING FROM THE UPPER 50S ACROSS NORTHWEST KANSAS TO AROUND 80
ACROSS NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA.  SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN
POSSIBLE ACROSS EASTERN KANSAS...EASTERN OKLAHOMA AND MISSOURI WITH
BREEZY NORTHEAST WINDS EXPECTED ACROSS THE REGION.
