VERY WARM TEMPERATURES PREVAILED ACROSS CENTRAL AND EASTERN KANSAS
TODAY...WITH DAYTIME HIGHS IN THE 70S AND LOWER 80S. SKIES WERE
CLEAR WITH SOUTHEAST WINDS OF 5 TO 15 MPH.

SOUTHERLY WINDS AND MILD TEMPERATURES WILL BE ON TAP ACROSS THE
CENTRAL PLAINS TONIGHT...AS A SURFACE TROUGH AXIS DEEPENS OVER
WESTERN SECTIONS OF KANSAS AND NEBRASKA. MEANWHILE...SOME ELEVATED
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE LATE TONIGHT ACROSS
OKLAHOMA. OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL BE IN THE 40S AND 50S ACROSS MID
AMERICA.

A COLD FRONT WILL PUSH SOUTHWARD ACROSS NEBRASKA DURING THE DAY ON
WEDNESDAY...WITH VERY WARM AND ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES FOR
LOCATIONS SOUTH OF THE FRONT. STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE
POSSIBLE ALONG THE FRONT OVER EASTERN NEBRASKA...AND NORTH CENTRAL
KANSAS BY LATE IN THE AFTERNOON. DAYTIME HIGHS WILL RANGE FROM THE
COOLER 60S OVER THE NEBRASKA PANHANDLE...TO THE MUCH WARMER MID AND
UPPER 80S ACROSS KANSAS AND OKLAHOMA.
