SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS IMPACTED THE EASTERN PORTIONS OF THE
REGION THIS MORNING AND AFTERNOON...KEEPING AFTERNOON HIGHS IN THE
60S ACROSS EASTERN NEBRASKA...NORTHEAST KANSAS...WESTERN IOWA...AND
MUCH OF MISSOURI. CLEARING SKIES ACROSS SOUTHERN KANSAS AND OKLAHOMA
ALLOWED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS TO DEVELOP AHEAD OF WEAK SURFACE
TROUGH...THIS NORTH SOUTH ORIENTED LINE EXTENDED ACROSS CENTRAL
KANSAS DOWN INTO NORTHERN OKLAHOMA.

TONIGHT...AN ONGOING LINE OF STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL
CONTINUE TO MOVE EASTWARD INTO EASTERN KANSAS AND OKLAHOMA. AN
ADDITIONAL ROUND OF SEVERE WEATHER REMAINS POSSIBLE THIS EVENING AS
A DRY LINE MOVES THROUGH CENTRAL AND EASTERN KANSAS...AND NORTHERN
OKLAHOMA. THE PRIMARY THREATS WILL BE LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING
WINDS...HOWEVER A TORNADO OR TWO CANNOT BE RULED OUT. THESE STRONG
TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE THROUGH THE EVENING AND
OVERNIGHT HOURS.

SUNDAY...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO IMPACT THE
REGION THROUGHOUT MUCH OF THE DAY. STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS WILL BE
POSSIBLE ACROSS SOUTHEAST KANSAS...NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA...AND
SOUTHWEST MISSOURI EARLY ON SUNDAY. CLOUDY SKIES WILL REMAIN IN
PLACE FOR MUCH OF THE DAY ACROSS THE REGION AS AN UPPER LEVEL LOW
SLOWLY MOVES OVERHEAD. AFTERNOON HIGHS WILL RANGE FROM THE LOW 60S
ACROSS NEBRASKA TO LOW 70S IN OKLAHOMA.
