REGIONAL WEATHER SUMMARY FOR EASTERN KANSAS

MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES WERE FOUND ACROSS MOST OF THE PLAINS STATES
OVERNIGHT...AS SOUTHERLY WINDS RETURN TO THE PLAINS. A FEW SPRINKLES
WERE FOUND OVER WESTERN KANSAS.  EARLY MORNING TEMPERATURES RANGED
FROM THE UPPER 40S IN NORTHWEST MISSOURI TO THE MIDDLE 50S IN
SOUTHERN KANSAS AND OKLAHOMA.

MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES AND SOUTHERLY BREEZES WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE
PLAINS TODAY INTO TONIGHT...AS A RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE REMAINS OVER
THE OHIO VALLEY.  THIS WILL LEAD TO MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES AND MILD
CONDITIONS FOR MOST LOCATIONS.  THE ONLY EXCEPTION WILL BE OVER
NORTHWEST KANSAS AND SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA WHERE A WEAK SURFACE TROUGH
MAY LEAD TO SOME SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING IN THE
HIGH PLAINS LATE THIS AFTERNOON INTO THIS EVENING.

HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL RANGE FROM THE LOWER 80S IN SOUTHWEST
KANSAS TO THE LOWER 70S IN SOUTHERN NEBRASKA.  LOW TEMPERATURES
TONIGHT WILL BE IN THE LOW TO MIDDLE 50S REGIONWIDE.
