REGIONAL WEATHER SUMMARY FOR EASTERN KANSAS

CLOUDS COVER MUCH OF THE CENTRAL AND SOUTHWESTERN PORTIONS OF KANSAS
WITH FAR NORTHEAST KANSAS UNDER CLEAR SKIES.  MORNING LOWS ARE IN
THE 30S AND 40S THIS MORNING WITH GENERALLY EAST TO SOUTHEAST WINDS
OVER THE STATE.

TODAY: CLOUDS WILL CONTINUE TO COVER THE REGION WHICH WILL KEEP
TEMPERATURES COOLER THAN NORMAL.  HIGHS WILL BE IN THE 60S REGION
WIDE.  SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE DURING
THE AFTERNOON OVER THE NEBRASKA PANHANDLE AND EASTERN COLORADO AND
THEN OVER OKLAHOMA.  WINDS WILL BECOME SOUTHEASTERLY DURING THE DAY
BETWEEN 10 AND 20 MPH.

TONIGHT: SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORM CHANCES INCREASE ACROSS ALL OF
CENTRAL PLAINS REGION.  OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL BE IN THE 40S AND 50S
WITH SOUTH TO SOUTHEASTERLY WINDS BETWEEN 5 AND 15 MPH.
