ANOTHER COOL DAY WAS OBSERVED ACROSS THE REGION WITH AFTERNOON HIGHS
RANGING FROM THE MID 50S TO MID 60S. COLD AIR ALOFT ALLOWED FOR A
BROAD AREA OF CUMULUS TO DEVELOP WITH SLIGHT DAYTIME HEATING ACROSS
MUCH OF NEBRASKA...MISSOURI...AND KANSAS. GUSTY NORTHWESTERLY WINDS
WERE ALSO OBSERVED ACROSS THE REGION...WITH THE STRONG WINDS IN
NEBRASKA AND IOWA.

TONIGHT...GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS WILL SUBSIDE AND BECOME WESTERLY
ACROSS NORTHERN PORTIONS OF THE REGION AND SOUTHWESTERLY ACROSS
SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF THE REGION. THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR
PREDAWN RAIN SHOWERS TO DEVELOP ACROSS SOUTHERN KANSAS AND NORTHERN
OKLAHOMA. OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL DROP INTO THE UPPER 20S AND LOW 30S
ACROSS MUCH OF NEBRASKA AND IOWA. FURTHER SOUTH IN
KANSAS...MISSOURI...AND NORTHERN OKLAHOMA...OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL
RANGE FROM THE UPPER 30S TO MID 40S.

TUESDAY...LINGERING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE
THROUGHOUT THE MORNING HOURS ACROSS SOUTHERN KANSAS AND NORTHERN
OKLAHOMA. STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CHANCES INCREASE ACROSS
SOUTH CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS...SOUTHWEST MISSOURI...AND
NORTHERN OKLAHOMA TUESDAY AFTERNOON. THE MAIN THREAT WITH STORMS
THAT DO DEVELOP WILL BE HAIL AND STRONG WINDS. AFTERNOON HIGHS WILL
RANGE FROM LOW 60S TO LOW 70S ACROSS THE REGION.
