ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES AND WINDY CONDITIONS WERE IN PLACE ACROSS
CENTRAL AND EASTERN KANSAS TODAY. LATE AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES RANGED
FROM THE LOW 90S OVER CENTRAL KANSAS...TO THE LOW 80S OVER THE
SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE SUNFLOWER STATE. NORMAL HIGHS FOR THIS TIME
OF YEAR ARE IN THE MID 70S. SOUTH WINDS GUSTING TO BETWEEN 30 AND 35
MPH ACCOMPANIED THESE AFTERNOON READINGS.

SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE TONIGHT ACROSS THE WESTERN HALF
OF KANSAS ALONG WITH MUCH OF NEBRASKA AND IOWA AS A STATIONARY FRONT
REMAINS SITUATED OVER THE CENTRAL PLAINS. WIDESPREAD SEVERE STORMS
ARE NOT ANTICIPATED WITH THIS ACTIVITY. STORMS WILL AGAIN BE
POSSIBLE ON MONDAY FOR BASICALLY THE SAME AREAS AS TONIGHT AS THE
PATTERN REMAINS UNCHANGED.

OVERNIGHT LOWS ARE EXPECTED TO RANGE FROM THE UPPER 40S OVER WESTERN
NEBRASKA...TO THE LOW 60S OVER EASTERN OKLAHOMA. ABOVE NORMAL HIGHS
ARE EXPECTED AGAIN ON MONDAY AS THEY RANGE FROM AROUND 60 OVER
WESTERN NEBRASKA TO THE LOW 80S OVER THE EASTERN HALF OF KANSAS
ALONG WITH OKLAHOMA.
