DAILY RIVER AND LAKE SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBIA SC
1115 AM EDT FRI APR 17 2015

...River levels are currently elevated however all forecast points are expected
to remain below flood stage...

Significant rainfall over the past few days has contributed to elevated levels on
area rivers. Increased reservoir releases have added to elevated conditions on
the Congaree River at Columbia and Carolina Eastman. Columbia has already peaked
at 8.8 feet and is on the way down. This increases confidence that Carolina
Eastman will stay below flood stage through Saturday.

Significant rainfall is expected on Sunday which may bring levels back up.
Forecast amounts range between one half and one inch of rain...with the
greatest amounts falling in the Upstate. All forecast points are expected to
remain below flood stage at this point.
