A STORM SYSTEM ORGANIZING OVER THE PLAINS...WILL LIFT NORTH OF THE
REGION AND INTO JAMES BAY BY FRIDAY. THIS PATTERN WILL GENERATE
SUMMER LIKE CONDITIONS ACROSS NORTHERN MICHIGAN INTO THE
WEEKEND...WITH WELL ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES AND INCREASING HUMIDITY
LEVELS. THE CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS INCREASES ACROSS
NORTHERN MICHIGAN FRIDAY AND SATURDAY...AS A COLD FRONT DROPS SOUTH
ACROSS THE STATE.

COOLER AND MORE SEASONAL TEMPERATURES...ALONG WITH A FEW RAIN
SHOWERS...CAN BE EXPECTED ACROSS THE NORTHERN GREAT LAKES SUNDAY AND
MONDAY.

LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT...WILL RANGE FROM THE 40S NORTH...TO NEAR
60 DEGREES SOUTH.

HIGH TEMPERATURES THURSDAY...WILL RANGE FROM THE 70S NORTH OF THE
STRAITS...TO THE 80S SOUTH OF THE STRAITS.

HERE IS THE HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK FOR NORTHERN LOWER AND EASTERN
UPPER MICHIGAN.

ELEVATED FIRE DANGER EXPECTED THURSDAY DUE TO RECENT DRY
WEATHER...WARMER TEMPERATURES...AND INCREASING WINDS.
