.DISCUSSION...

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BECOME WIDESPREAD ACROSS CENTRAL
AND SOUTHEAST ILLINOIS ON THURSDAY AS A COLD FRONT MOVES INTO THE
REGION. THE FRONT WILL SAG SOUTHWARD INTO THE OHIO RIVER VALLEY BY
FRIDAY...HOWEVER LOW PRESSURE TRACKING ALONG THE BOUNDARY WILL
KEEP SHOWERS IN THE FORECAST THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING. TOTAL
RAINFALL WITH THIS SYSTEM WILL RANGE FROM AROUND A HALF AN INCH IN
THE ILLINOIS RIVER VALLEY TO GREATER THAN AN INCH AND A HALF SOUTH
OF I-70.
