Partly cloudy to mostly clear skies were present across central and
southeast Illinois this evening. Winds were out of the north
northeast at 5 to 15 mph. Temperatures were in the mid 40s to upper
50s throughout the area.

Weak high pressure over the upper Midwest will settle into Illinois
tonight into tomorrow, bringing more sunshine, lighter winds and
milder temperatures. Temperatures will steadily increase through the
weekend, along with mostly dry conditions. However, a weak system
will bring scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms to Iowa,
Wisconsin, northern Missouri and the northern half of Illinois
Saturday night and Sunday.

Low temperatures tonight will be in the upper 30s to mid 40s
throughout the Midwest.

High temperatures Friday will be in the mid 60s to low 70s across the
Midwest, with cooler temperatures in the 50s and low 60s along the
Great Lakes shoreline.
