WEATHER SUMMARY FOR CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST ILLINOIS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LINCOLN IL
724 PM CDT FRI MAY 1 2015

High pressure brought mostly sunny skies and light winds to central
and southeast Illinois on Friday. High temperatures were
seasonable, in the upper 60s to lower 70s.

High pressure will drift southeast of the region on Saturday, and
continue fair weather over much of the area. As southerly flow
develops, temperatures will push above normal this weekend, and into
early next week. A weak system will bring scattered showers and
isolated thunderstorms to Iowa, Wisconsin, northern Missouri and the
northern half of Illinois, for Saturday night. A better chance of
showers and thunderstorms will remain over this region, for Sunday
night and Monday, as a cold front pushes southeast, into northern
Illinois.

Low temperatures tonight will drop into the mid 40s to lower 50s
across the Midwest, while highs on Saturday will reach the 70s.
