Mostly sunny skies prevailed over eastern Illinois this afternoon,
while skies became partly to mostly cloudy along and west of
highway 51 by mid afternoon. Temperatures at 3 pm, ranged from 66
degrees in Danville and Paris, to 76 degrees in Springfield.
North winds of 8 to 15 mph prevailed this afternoon, with a few
gusts of 15 to 25 mph.

An upper level disturbance over eastern Lake Superior will
drop southward into Kentucky by Thursday evening. This will
bring more clouds along with isolated showers over the region into
tonight and over Indiana, Kentucky and eastern Illinois on Thursday.
This system will also bring slightly cooler air into the Midwest
tomorrow. Temperatures will warm up late this week with highs in the
70s and lower 80s across the Midwest this weekend into early next
week. Dry conditions will prevail across much of the region
from Friday through Saturday, except with a weak system bringing
isolated showers and thunderstorms to Iowa, northern Missouri and
west central Illinois.

Low temperatures tonight, will range from the mid to upper 30s over
Wisconsin and northeast parts of Illinois and Indiana, to around
50 degrees in southeast Missouri.

High temperatures Thursday, will range from the 50s over eastern
and northern Wisconsin, northeast Illinois and northern Indiana,
to the low to mid 70s over the western half of Iowa and Missouri.
