WEATHER SUMMARY FOR CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST ILLINOIS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LINCOLN IL
823 PM CDT TUE APR 28 2015

Mostly clear skies were present across central and southeast
Illinois this evening. Winds were out of the northeast at 5 to 10
mph. Temperatures were in the mid 50s to low 60s throughout the
area.

High pressure will continue to bring dry and mild weather to the
region for tonight into Wednesday. An upper level disturbance
tracking from the Great Lakes into the Ohio Valley will bring a low
chance of showers to eastern Illinois and Indiana Wednesday night
into Thursday. This system will also bring slightly cooler air into
the Midwest on Thursday. Dry and mild weather will return briefly
on Friday, with a weak system pushing into the region by Friday
night, bringing a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms.

Low temperatures tonight will drop into the mid 30s to mid 40s across
the Midwest.

High temperatures on Wednesday will be in the low 50s near Lake
Michigan, with highs mostly in the upper 60s and low 70s across much
of the Midwest.
