WEATHER SUMMARY FOR CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST ILLINOIS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LINCOLN IL
427 AM CDT TUE APR 21 2015

Clear skies and cooler temperatures prevailed over central and
southeast Illinois overnight. Pre-dawn readings were in the middle
30s to middle 40s.

Deep low pressure will continue to spin over the northern Great
Lakes today. This will produce another day of brisk westerly
winds, which will gust over 40 MPH at times, this afternoon.
Sunshine will allow temperatures to be several degrees warmer than
yesterday, but still a few degrees below normal. A weak upper
level disturbance passing through the southern Midwest tonight, will
bring a chance of showers as far north as central Illinois. After
that, dry and cool weather will persist through the end of the work
week. The chilly airmass will bring a threat of early morning
frost, for much of the Midwest.

High temperatures today will range from the upper 40s in southern
Wisconsin, to near 70 degrees in southern Missouri. Lows tonight
will range from near 30 degrees in northern Illinois, to around 50
degrees in southern Illinois.
