...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
MONDAY EVENING FOR MUCH OF THE SUSQUEHANNA VALLEY AND THE ENDLESS
MOUNTAIN REGION OF NORTHEAST PENNSYLVANIA...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN STATE COLLEGE HAS ISSUED A FIRE
WEATHER WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM MONDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
MONDAY EVENING.

* AFFECTED AREA...ENDLESS MOUNTAIN REGION SOUTHWARD THROUGH
  PORTIONS OF THE MIDDLE TO LOWER SUSQUEHANNA RIVER VALLEY.

* WINDS...SOUTHWEST WINDS INCREASING TO 8 TO 13 MPH WITH GUSTS
  BETWEEN 20 AND 25 MPH BETWEEN 1PM AND 6PM.

* TIMING...RED FLAG CONDITIONS WILL BE REACHED BY EARLY AFTERNOON
  AS SOUTHWEST WINDS INCREASE AND GUST TO 20 MPH OR ABOVE BY 1 PM
  AND LAST INTO EARLY EVENING.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...AS LOW AS 25 PERCENT.

* TEMPERATURES...UPPER 70S TO LOWER 80S.

* IMPACTS...THE POTENTIAL EXISTS FOR RAPID DEVELOPMENT AND
  SPREAD OF WILD FIRES...OR FOR PRESCRIBED BURNS TO GET OUT OF
  CONTROL. OUTDOOR BURNING IS NOT RECOMMENDED.
