WEATHER SUMMARY FOR ARKANSAS

ACROSS ARKANSAS...MOSTLY DRY CONDITIONS WERE SEEN ACROSS THE STATE
OVERNIGHT AND EARLY THIS MORNING...WITH ONLY SOME ISOLATED SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS OBSERVED ACROSS FAR WESTERN ARKANSAS. SOME PATCHY
FOG WAS ALSO NOTED IN THE EARLY MORNING...WITH A FEW SPOTS SEEING
DENSE FOG. MORNING LOW TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE MID 50S TO MID 60S.

TODAY...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE FOUND ACROSS WESTERN AND
SOUTHERN PARTS OF THE STATE...AND AS THE DAY WEARS ON...SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO SPREAD NORTH AND EAST. THIS WILL
IMPACT MUCH OF THE STATE THROUGH THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS. AN
ISOLATED STRONG TO SEVERE STORM MAY BE SEEN. DESPITE CLOUD COVER AND
EXPECTED RAINFALL...HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL TOP OUT IN THE LOWER TO
MID 70S.

SOME CHANCES OF RAIN WILL BE SEEN TONIGHT...RAIN CHANCES WILL BE
FAIRLY LOW DURING THE MORNING HOURS ON SUNDAY. A STORM SYSTEM AND
COLD FRONT WILL SWEEP THROUGH ARKANSAS DURING THE AFTERNOON AND
EVENING ON SUNDAY...AND DEVELOP WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND STORMS.
SCATTERED STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE AND SOME STORMS
COULD PRODUCE LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS BEFORE THE FRONT SWEEPS
ALL THE RAINFALL OUT OF THE STATE LATE SUNDAY NIGHT.

HEADING INTO NEXT WEEK...DRY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED THROUGH
TUESDAY. IN THE WAKE OF THE FRONT ON SUNDAY...COOLER AIR WILL FILTER
INTO ARKANSAS AS WELL. HIGHS WILL RUN A FEW DEGREES BELOW
NORMAL...WHILE OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL BE SEVERAL DEGREES BELOW SEASONAL
NORMS. ON MONDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHT...TEMPERATURES WILL APPROACH 40
DEGREES IN SPOTS UP NORTH...WITH MID TO UPPER 40S LIKELY ACROSS
CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN ARKANSAS. DAYTIME HIGHS WILL BE IN THE 60S TO
LOWER 70S.
