TEMPERATURES AT MID MORNING WERE GENERALLY IN THE MIDDLE 60S.
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE DEVELOPING AND PUSHING
THROUGH SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND SOUTHWEST MISSOURI. THESE SHOWERS AND
STORMS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE DAY TODAY. HIGH TEMPERATURES
OUTSIDE OF THE RAIN AND STORMS WILL APPROACH THE MIDDLE 70S.

RAIN AND STORM CHANCES WILL BECOME EVEN MORE WIDESPREAD ON
THURSDAY AND THURSDAY NIGHT. SOME STORMS MAY BE STRONG TO SEVERE
AT TIMES. HEAVY RAINFALL WILL ALSO OCCUR WITH MOST LOCATIONS
RECEIVING 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAINFALL.

COOLER WEATHER WILL RETURN FRIDAY INTO THE WEEKEND BEFORE MORE
ACTIVE AND UNSETTLED WEATHER RETURNS NEXT WEEK.
