FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR SOUTHEAST TEXAS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HOUSTON/GALVESTON TX
229 PM CDT FRI APR 17 2015

.DISCUSSION...
A SERIES OF UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCES WILL MOVE ACROSS SOUTHEAST
TEXAS THROUGH SATURDAY. PERIODS OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL
PREVAIL THROUGH SATURDAY. SOME OF THE STORMS WILL PRODUCE LARGE
HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS ALONG WITH LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN. A COLD
FRONT IS EXPECTED TO CROSS SOUTHEAST TEXAS SUNDAY NIGHT. A BRIEF
PERIOD OF DRY WEATHER IS ANTICIPATED FOR THE BEGINNING OF NEXT
WEEK...BEFORE RAIN CHANCES INCREASE AGAIN AS THE NEXT STORM
SYSTEM APPROACHES. OTHERWISE... RECENT RAINS WILL KEEP FIRE
WEATHER CONCERNS LOW OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS.
