...DISCUSSION FROM RNOFWFVEF...

LESS SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM COVERAGE IS EXPECTED TODAY AND
WEDNESDAY WITH THE BEST CHANCES SPREAD ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS OF INYO
COUNTY AND THE SOUTHERN GREAT BASIN. A STRONGER LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM
WILL TAKE AIM AT THE AREA THURSDAY AND FRIDAY RESULTING IN MORE
UNSETTLED WEATHER AND MUCH COOLER CONDITIONS.

...DISCUSSION FROM LAXFWFSGX...

ONSHORE FLOW WILL BRING SLOW COOLING THROUGH WEDNESDAY WITH GUSTY
WEST WINDS IN THE MOUNTAINS AND DESERTS AND A CONTINUED DEEPER
MARINE LAYER WEST OF THE MOUNTAINS. FOR THURSDAY AND FRIDAY...A
COLD LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM FROM THE NORTH WILL BRING ADDITIONAL
INLAND COOLING...STRONGER GUSTY WEST WINDS IN THE MOUNTAINS AND
DESERTS...AND PERIODS OF SHOWERS ALONG AND WEST OF THE
MOUNTAINS...MOSTLY LIKELY THURSDAY NIGHT. DRY WITH A WARMING TREND
FOR SATURDAY THROUGH MONDAY UNDER HIGH PRESSURE.

...DISCUSSION FROM PHXFWFPSR...

SCATTERED MORNING SHOWERS ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL ARIZONA WILL BECOME
MORE ISOLATED IN COVERAGE BY THIS AFTERNOON AS AN AREA OF LOW
PRESSURE EXITS TOWARDS THE EAST. ISOLATED AFTERNOON THUNDERSTORMS
ARE ALSO POSSIBLE. HUMIDITY VALUES TODAY WILL BE QUITE ELEVATED WITH
GOOD OVERNIGHT RECOVERIES EXPECTED. DRIER SOUTHWEST FLOW ALOFT
SPREADING INTO THE AREA WILL RESULT IN LOWER MINIMUM RH VALUES
WEDNESDAY...WITH A FEW OF THE LOWER DESERTS FALLING BELOW
15 PERCENT. BREEZY SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST WINDS ARE EXPECTED DURING THE
AFTERNOON ON BOTH DAYS.
