A SURFACE TROUGH CURRENTLY LIES JUST EAST OF THE RED RIVER. A WEAK
PRESSURE GRADIENT OVER THE AREA IS PRODUCING WEST WINDS OF AROUND
5 MPH...WITH MIXING WINDS FROM 5 TO 15 MILES PER HOUR. AS THE
TROUGH SLOWLY SHIFTS EAST DURING THE DAY...WINDS WILL BECOME MORE
NORTHWESTERLY AT 5 TO 10 MILES PER HOUR. HUMIDITIES WILL START
MOIST THIS MORNING WITH HIGH DEWPOINTS...BUT HIGH TEMPS IN THE MID
TO UPPER 70S TODAY WILL RESULT IN MINIMUM HUMIDITIES IN THE 20 TO
25 PERCENT RANGE. THESE VALUES SHOULD BE REACHED BY MID TO LATE
AFTERNOON BEFORE RECOVERING AFTER SUNSET. SMOKE DISPERSAL IS
EXPECTED TO BE POOR TO FAIR WITH THE LIGHT MIXING WINDS.
