THE FOLLOWING ARE PRELIMINARY STORM TOTAL SNOWFALL ESTIMATES IN THE
MOUNTAINS OF EASTERN UTAH AND WESTERN COLORADO, AS ESTIMATED BY
MOUNTAIN SNOTEL OBSERVATION SITES SINCE SNOW BEGAN ON APRIL 15TH AND
16TH.

EASTERN UTAH MOUNTAINS:
EASTERN UINTAS: 15 TO 30 INCHES.
EASTERN TAVAPUTS: ABOUT 13 INCHES.
LA SALS: ABOUT 13 INCHES.
ABAJOS: ABOUT 10 INCHES.
WESTERN COLORADO MOUNTAINS:
ELKHEADS AND PARK RANGE: 5 TO 12 INCHES.
FLATTOPS: 6 TO 12 INCHES.
GRAND MESA: 8 TO 17 INCHES.
GORE AND ELK MOUNTAINS: 10 TO 20 INCHES,
WITH UP TO 35 AT INDEPENDENCE PASS.
WEST ELK AND SAWATCH RANGE: 15 TO 30 INCHES.
UNCOMPAGHRE PLATEAU: ABOUT 14 INCHES AT COLUMBINE PASS.
SAN JUANS: 5 TO 8 INCHES OVER NW SAN JUANS,
WITH LITTLE ACCUMULATION AMONG THE SW SAN JUANS.

THE FOLLOWING ARE PRELIMINARY 24 HOUR PRECIPITATION REPORTS FROM
WESTERN COLORADO AND EASTERN UTAH, ENDING AROUND 8 AM SATURDAY. THE
FIRST VALUE IS RAINFALL OR WATER AMOUNTS IN SNOW, AND THE SECOND
