ANOTHER ROUND OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPED THIS AFTERNOON
ACROSS THE LAND OF ENCHANTMENT. SOME OF THE STORMS WERE PRODUCING
STRONG GUSTY WINDS NEAR THE STORMS...LIGHTNING AND MAINLY LIGHT
BRIEF RAINFALL. EXPECT SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS TO LINGER
TILL AROUND MIDNIGHT. A FEW RAINFALL REPORTED INCLUDE 0.10 INCHES
IN GRANTS...0.02 INCHES IN LAS VEGAS AND ANGEL FIRE. OTHERWISE
SKIES WILL BE MOSTLY TO PARTLY CLOUDY THE REST OF TONIGHT. HIGH
TEMPERATURES TODAY WERE SLIGHTLY COOLER BUT STILL ABOVE AVERAGE
ACROSS WESTERN AND CENTRAL AREAS OF THE STATE. HIGH TEMPERATURES
THIS AFTERNOON RANGED FROM THE 50S TO THE 60S IN THE MOUNTAINS...AND
FROM THE 70S TO THE 80S ELSEWHERE. EXTREMES SO FAR RANGED FROM 62
DEGREES AT ANGEL FIRE TO 85 DEGREES AT TUCUMCARI. LOW TEMPERATURES
TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM THE 30S TO THE 40S IN THE NORTHERN MOUNTAINS
AND FROM THE 40S TO THE 50S ELSEWHERE.

ON MONDAY AND TUESDAY...AN UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM AND
MOISTURE FROM THE GULF OF MEXICO WILL IMPACT NEW MEXICO AS IT
SLIDE IN FROM THE WEST AND MOVE ACROSS THE REGION. THE SYSTEM WILL
PRODUCE SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS SOME WITH
HEAVY DOWNPOUR...LARGE HAIL AND STRONG GUSTY OUTFLOW WINDS AND A
FEW STORMS MAY BECOME SEVERE IN THE EAST CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST
PLAINS. OTHERWISE SMALL HAIL WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THE STORMS
ELSEWHERE. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL BE COOLER ACROSS NEW MEXICO ON
MONDAY AND WILL RANGE FROM THE 50S TO THE 60S IN THE NORTHERN
MOUNTAINS...AND FROM THE 70S TO THE LOW 80S ELSEWHERE.
