AT THE EASTERN SIERRA REGIONAL AIRPORT, THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE FOR
ALL OF 2014 WAS 59.5 DEGREES. THIS EASILY TOOK OUT THE OLD RECORD OF
57.9 DEGREES SET BACK IN 1950. THE AVERAGE HIGH WAS 78.6 WHICH BEAT
OUT THE 77.0 IN 1950 FOR THE WARMEST ON RECORD. THE AVERAGE LOW WAS
40.4 WHICH SURPASSED THE 39.7 DEGREES SET IN 1981 FOR THE WARMEST
AVERAGE LOW TEMPERATURE EVER ON RECORD. OFFICIAL RECORDS FOR BISHOP
DATE TO 1943.
