950 PM CDT MON MAY 04 2015

EARLY MORNING RAINSHOWERS HAD DISSIPATED BY MID MORNING ACROSS
SOUTHWEST KANSAS. HOWEVER, ANOTHER AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPED
FROM SOUTHEAST COLORADO INTO THE TEXAS PANHANDLE BY MID DAY. THIS
AREA THEN MOVED NORTHEAST INTO SOUTHWEST KANSAS DURING THE
AFTERNOON, PRODUCING A TORNADO NORTHEAST OF GARDEN CITY IN FINNEY
COUNTY, AS WELL AS A FEW REPORTS OF 1 INCH OR GREATER HAIL IN
FINNEY, PAWNEE, AND KIOWA COUNTIES. OTHERWISE, LOCALLY HEAVY RAINS
ASSOCIATED WITH SOME OF THESE STORMS, ESPECIALLY IN LANE COUNTY
WHERE 3.8 INCHES WAS REPORTED, PRODUCED SOME LOCAL FLOODING.
AFTERNOON HIGH TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE MID 60S TO MID 70S IN
NORTHWEST AND NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS, TO THE UPPER 70S TO MID 80S
ACROSS THE REST OF KANSAS.

THE UPPER LEVEL LOW IN THE DESERT SOUTHWEST WILL MOVE EAST TO NEAR
THE 4 CORNERS AREA BY TOMORROW MORNING, AND INTO CENTRAL COLORADO BY
TOMORROW EVENING. THE NEARLY STATIONARY FRONT ORIENTED EAST TO WEST
ACROSS KANSAS WILL LIFT NORTH INTO NEBRASKA TOMORROW, WITH A TROUGH
OF LOW PRESSURE REMAINING TO THE LEE OF THE ROCKIES. THE UPPER LEVEL
TROUGHING IN NEW MEXICO ASSOCIATED WITH THE UPPER LOW WILL APPROACH
SOUTHWEST KANSAS TOMORROW AFTERNOON, PRODUCING ANOTHER ROUND OF
THUNDERSTORMS FOR SOUTHWEST KANSAS. LITTLE SEVERE ACTIVITY IS
EXPECTED TOMORROW, HOWEVER THERE IS THE POSSIBILITY OF HEAVY RAIN
ACCOMPANYING THESE STORMS.

LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT WILL DROP INTO THE LOW TO UPPER 50S ACROSS
WESTERN KANSAS, WITH LOW 60S IN CENTRAL AND EASTERN KANSAS. HIGHS
TOMORROW WILL ONLY REACH THE LOW 60S TO LOW 70S IN WESTERN KANSAS,
