WEATHER SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PADUCAH KY
247 PM CDT WED MAY 6 2015

WITH THE HEAT OF THE DAY, FAIR WEATHER CLOUDS DEVELOPED AND
OVERSPREAD THE ENTIRE QUAD STATE REGION BY THE LATE MORNING.

LOWS OVERNIGHT WERE RATHER MILD, WITH LOWS IN THE MIDDLE 50S TO
LOWER 60S.

BY 3 PM CDT, TEMPERATURES HAD RISEN INTO THE LOWER TO MIDDLE 80S.

WEATHERWISE, HIGH PRESSURE CONTINUED TO SLOWLY MOVE EAST OF THE
QUAD STATE REGION. SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL HELP TO INCREASE HUMIDITY
ACROSS THE AREA AS THE WEEK PROGRESSES.

IN ADDITION TO THE HUMIDITY, CHANCES FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
WILL INCREASE FROM THE WEST...HOLDING OVER SOUTHEAST MISSOURI ON
THURSDAY. THESE RAIN CHANCES WILL GRADUALLY SPREAD EAST AND
INCREASE ACROSS THE REMAINDER OF THE AREA BEGINNING FRIDAY AND
PERSISTING THROUGH THE WEEKEND. THE BEST CHANCES FOR SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS WILL OCCUR LATE SUNDAY INTO MONDAY, WHEN AN INTENSE
AREA OF LOW PRESSURE MOVES FROM THE CENTRAL PLAINS INTO THE UPPER
MIDWEST.

HIGHS WILL REMAIN IN THE 80S WITH LOWS IN THE 60S THROUGH SUNDAY.
A COLD FRONT WILL PUSH BACK INTO THE 70S WITH LOWS IN THE 50S BY
NEXT MONDAY.
