PORTIONS OF RICHMOND... RANDOLPH...MOORE...HOKE...SCOTLAND AND
MONTGOMERY COUNTIES UNTIL 830 PM EDT...

AT 732 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
LINE OF HEAVY DOWNPOURS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ALONG A LINE
EXTENDING FROM 7 MILES NORTH OF BADIN LAKE TO 9 MILES SOUTH OF TROY
TO NEAR DUNBAR...AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 45 MPH.

WIND GUSTS UP TO 45 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THESE STORMS.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
ASHEBORO...LAURINBURG...SOUTHERN PINES...ROCKINGHAM...RAEFORD...
RANDLEMAN...TROY...CARTHAGE...NORTH CAROLINA ZOO AND BADIN LAKE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

SEEK SHELTER IN A NEARBY BUILDING OR VEHICLE. WIND GUSTS AS HIGH AS
45 MPH ARE CAPABLE OF KNOCKING DOWN SMALL OR WEAKENED TREES AND
BLOWING AROUND TRASH CANS...POTTED PLANTS...LAWN FURNITURE AND OTHER
LIGHT OUTDOOR OBJECTS.

TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IS ALSO OCCURRING WITH THESE STORMS...AND MAY
LEAD TO MINOR FLOODING.
