AFTERNOON...

* ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 2 TO 4 INCHES. UP TO 8
  INCHES OVER THE HIGH COUNTRY.

* ELEVATION: ABOVE 4000 FEET.

* TIMING...THE PERIOD OF STEADIEST SNOW WILL OCCUR THIS MORNING.
  FREQUENT SNOW SHOWERS ARE LIKELY THROUGHOUT THE AFTERNOON
  BEFORE ENDING AS SNOW FLURRIES EARLY THIS EVENING.

* IMPACTS...WINTER DRIVING CONDITIONS AND TRAVEL DELAYS WITH
  POSSIBLE CHAIN RESTRICTIONS.

* WINDS...SOUTHWEST 15 TO 25 MPH WITH LOCAL GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH
  ALONG THE SIERRA CREST.
