THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST
ARKANSAS...NORTHEAST LOUISIANA...CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI...NORTH
CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI...AND SOUTH CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

FLOODING
THREAT...ELEVATED
TIMING...TODAY THROUGH TONIGHT

THE FIRST OF SEVERAL ROUNDS OF HEAVY RAIN THIS WEEK IS EXPECTED TODAY
INTO TONIGHT. WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL SPREAD ACROSS
THE AREA FROM THE SOUTH AND PRODUCE 1 TO 2 INCHES WITH LOCALLY
HEAVIER AMOUNTS THROUGH THIS EVENING. THE MOST INTENSE STORMS MAY
DROP THIS AMOUNT OF RAIN IN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME LEADING TO FLASH
FLOODING CONCERNS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

AN ACTIVE WEATHER PATTERN WILL SET UP OVER THE REGION AND RAISE
CONCERN FOR HEAVY RAINFALL TODAY THROUGH FRIDAY. THREE TO SIX INCHES
OF RAIN IS EXPECTED WITH SOME LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE. SUCH
HEAVY RAIN WILL COMBINE WITH ALREADY WET SOILS ACROSS THE AREA TO
INCREASE CONCERN FOR FLASH FLOODING AND RIVER FLOODING. BECAUSE OF
THIS...THERE IS AN ELEVATED THREAT FOR FLOODING FOR THE ENTIRE
ARKLAMISS REGION.
