...SIERRA/NORTHERN AND CENTRAL ROCKIES...

AN UPPER LOW WILL LIFT NORTHEASTWARD AND JUST PRODUCE SOME VERY
HIGH ELEVATION SNOW ACROSS THE COLORADO ROCKIE...MOSTLY ABOVE
10000 FEET ON TUESDAY. A COLDER DIGGING TROUGH OVER THE NORTHWEST
ON TUESDAY WILL MOVE SOUTHWARD ALONG THE WEST COAST ON THURSDAY
INTO FRIDAY DROPPING SNOW LEVELS MORE SIGNIFICANTLY WITH HIGH
ELEVATION SNOW IN THE CASCADES AND COLORADO ROCKIES AS WELL AS
SCATTERED LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT THE WEST. BY THURSDAY NIGHT INTO
FRIDAY...SNOW WILL RETURN TO THE SIERRA WITH SOME HEAVY
ACCUMULATIONS POSSIBLE WHILE SOME COLDER AIR SHOULD ALLOW SOME
SIGNIFICANT SNOW TO FALL ACROSS THE BITTERROOTS/MOUNTAINS OF
SOUTHWESTERN MONTANA AND THE RANGES OF NORTHERN AND NORTHWESTERN
WYOMING.

THE PROBABILITY OF SIGNIFICANT ICING IS LESS THAN 10 PERCENT.
