THROUGH MIDDAY TUESDAY...

.AN APPROACHING COLD FRONT WILL MEET UP WITH A SURGE OF MOISTURE
FROM THE LOWER MISSISSIPPI AND TENNESSEE VALLEYS GENERATING
SEVERAL ROUNDS OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. AS THE FRONT PRESSES
DEEPER INTO EASTERN KENTUCKY AREAS OF HEAVY RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE
INTO TUESDAY MORNING. THE HEAVY RAIN MAY LINGER OVER FAR
SOUTHEAST KENTUCKY THROUGH EARLY TUESDAY AFTERNOON. GENERALLY
BETWEEN ONE AND THREE INCHES OF RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH
MIDDAY TUESDAY...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE. THIS WILL
RESULT IN A THREAT FOR FLOODING...ESPECIALLY IN LOW LYING AREAS
AND LOCATIONS THAT SEE REPEATED ROUNDS OF HEAVY RAIN.

  MONTGOMERY...POWELL AND ROWAN. IN SOUTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY...
  PULASKI...ROCKCASTLE AND WAYNE. IN SOUTHEAST KENTUCKY...

* THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING

* ROUNDS OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAINS WILL
  DEVELOP THIS EVENING AND CONTINUE INTO THE DAY TUESDAY. THIS
  COULD RESULT IN FLOODING.

* AREAS THAT REPEATEDLY RECEIVE ROUNDS OF HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE
  MOST AT RISK FOR FLOODING. FLOODING OF LOW LYING AND POORLY
  DRAINED AREAS...AS WELL AS RAPID RISES ON SMALL STREAMS AND
  CREEKS MAY ALSO OCCUR.

CURRENT FORECASTS.
