.DISCUSSION...AS AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE EXITS TO THE EAST
TODAY...EXPECT SOME ISOLATED SHOWERS TO LINGER ACROSS THE FAR
EASTERN PORTION OF THE STATE...SLOWLY DIMINISHING BY THIS
AFTERNOON. HIGH PRESSURE WILL THEN BEGIN FILLING IN ACROSS THE
REGION...AND SHOULD REMAIN IN PLACE THROUGH THE WEEKEND AND INTO
THE FIRST PART OF NEXT WEEK...KEEPING DRY AND PLEASANT WEATHER IN
PLACE. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL GENERALLY BE IN THE 60S ACROSS
EASTERN KENTUCKY TODAY. TEMPERATURES WILL THEN CLIMB EACH
DAY...REACHING THE MID AND UPPER 70S BY SUNDAY. LOW TEMPERATURES
WILL STILL BE IN THE 40S OVERNIGHT TONIGHT...BUT WILL BE ON AN
UPWARDS TREND INTO NEXT WEEK AS WELL.
