19H 2015 ACROSS WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA...

AN UPPER LEVEL SYSTEM...WHICH 96 HOURS AGO WAS LOCATED OVER
THE FOUR CORNERS REGION OF ARIZONA...UTAH...COLORADO...AND
NEW MEXICO...HAS MOVED EVER SO SLIGHTLY TO THE EAST TO A
POSITION OVER WESTERN KANSAS THROUGHOUT THIS TIME FRAME. THIS
SLOW MOVEMENT AND TRACK HAS BROUGHT MULTIPLE WAVES OF SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS TO MOST OF WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA
OVER THE PAST 96 HOURS...OR SINCE 7AM CDT / 6AM MDT ON
WEDNESDAY...APRIL 15TH 2015.

MORE RECENTLY...A BAND OF MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN WITH
EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS...LIFTED NORTH ACROSS SOUTHWESTERN
NEBRASKA DURING THE EVENING HOURS ON SATURDAY...APRIL
18TH 2015...AND STALLED OVER PORTIONS OF THE
SANDHILLS...EASTERN PANHANDLE...AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA
BEFORE SLOWLY DROPPING BACK TO THE SOUTH THROUGH THE EARLY
MORNING HOURS ON SUNDAY...APRIL 19TH 2015. THE SLOW MOVEMENT
OF THIS LINE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS...HELPED TO PRODUCE
RAINFALL TOTALS OF OVER ONE INCH ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE
SANDHILLS...WITH AS MUCH AS 1.57 INCHES BEING REPORTED 5
MILES WEST OF STAPLETON IN LOGAN COUNTY.

THE HIGHEST STORM TOTAL RAINFALL REPORT FROM THE PAST 96 HOURS
SO FAR HAS BEEN 3.50 INCHES 16 MILES SOUTHWEST OF MULLEN IN
HOOKER COUNTY.
