OVERNIGHT...SHOWERS AND EVEN A FEW EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS MOVED
ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE EASTERN PANHANDLE...SANDHILLS...AND
SOUTHWESTERN NEBRASKA. RAINFALL AMOUNTS WERE GENERALLY A COUPLE
TENTHS OF AN INCH...HOWEVER...AMOUNTS OF A QUARTER TO A HALF AN
INCH WERE SEEN IN SOME OF THE HEAVIER SHOWERS. LOW TEMPERATURES
RANGED FROM THE UPPER 30S TO LOW 40S OVER THE EASTERN
PANHANDLE...TO THE UPPER 40S TO LOW 50S OVER THE EASTERN SANDHILLS
AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA. SKIES WERE GENERALLY CLOUDY...WITH
VARIABLE WINDS OF 10 TO 20 MILES PER HOUR.

TODAY...AN UPPER LEVEL SYSTEM SPINNING OVER THE FOUR CORNERS
REGION WILL SLOWLY MOVE TO THE NORTHEAST THROUGH THIS EVENING. THE
TRACK OF THIS SYSTEM WILL BECOME VERY FAVORABLE FOR WIDESPREAD
RAIN SHOWERS AND EVEN A FEW RUMBLES OF THUNDER ACROSS MUCH OF
WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA...ESPECIALLY LATER THIS
AFTERNOON. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE FROM THE LOW 50S TO MID
60S TODAY...WITH NORTHERLY TO NORTHWESTERLY WINDS OF 5 TO 15 MILES
PER HOUR. SKIES WILL BE CLOUDY ACROSS THE ENTIRE REGION...WITH THE
BEST CHANCE FOR SHOWER AND SOME THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY ACROSS THE
EASTERN PANHANDLE...SOUTHERN SANDHILLS...AND SOUTHWESTERN
NEBRASKA.
