TODAY...SKIES WERE MOSTLY SUNNY THROUGH MUCH OF THE DAYTIME HOURS
AS AN AREA OF WEAK HIGH PRESSURE MOVED OVERHEAD...HOWEVER...CLOUDS
DID EVENTUALLY BEGIN TO INCREASE IN COVERAGE TOWARDS THE LATE
AFTERNOON ACROSS THE SOUTHEASTERN PANHANDLE AND SOUTHWESTERN
NEBRASKA. HIGH TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE LOW 70S OVER THE
EASTERN PANHANDLE...WESTERN SANDHILLS...AND NORTH CENTRAL
NEBRASKA...TO THE MID TO UPPER 70S OVER THE CENTRAL AND EASTERN
SANDHILLS...AND SOUTHWESTERN NEBRASKA. WINDS WERE LIGHT AND
VARIABLE THROUGH MUCH OF THE DAY.

TONIGHT...THE WEAK AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE THAT BROUGHT MOSTLY SUNNY
SKIES TODAY...WILL MOVE TO THE EAST THROUGH THE EVENING
HOURS...ALLOWING FOR A MODEST RETURN OF LOW LEVEL MOISTURE TO THE
REGION. THIS MOISTURE RETURN WILL ALLOW FOR A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS THIS EVENING ACROSS PARTS OF
SOUTHWESTERN NEBRASKA...THE SOUTHEASTERN PANHANDLE...AND SOUTHERN
SANDHILLS. LOW TEMPERATURES THIS EVENING WILL FALL INTO THE MID
40S TO LOW 50S...WITH SOUTHEASTERLY WINDS OF 5 TO 10 MILES PER
HOUR BECOMING SOUTHERLY DURING THE EARLY MORNING HOURS ON SATURDAY.
