WITH A HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVING EAST OF THE REGION AND A
DEVELOPING STORM SYSTEM OVER THE ROCKY MOUNTAINS...WESTERN
NEBRASKA WAS PLACED IN AN AREA OF STRONG SOUTHERLY WINDS TODAY. GUSTS
TOPPED 40 MILES PER HOUR ACROSS THE NORTHERN SANDHILLS AND 30
MILES AN HOUR ELSEWHERE. HIGHS WERE GENERALLY IN THE LOWER 70S
WITH THE HELP OF FULL SUNSHINE.

CLOUD COVER WILL SLOWLY INCREASE OVERNIGHT AS THE LOW PRESSURE
SYSTEM APPROACHES NEBRASKA. SOUTH WINDS WILL STAY BREEZY AT 10 TO
20 MILES PER HOUR. LOW TEMPERATURES WILL BE RELATIVELY MILD WITH
MID 40S ACROSS NORTHERN NEBRASKA AND LOWER 40S SOUTH.
