...The National Weather Service in Louisville KY has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Indiana...Kentucky...

  Ohio River at McAlpine Upper
  Ohio River at McAlpine Lower
  Ohio River at Cannelton Lock

affecting the following counties in Indiana...Clark...Crawford...
Floyd...Harrison...Perry and in Kentucky...Breckinridge...Hancock...
Jefferson...Meade...Oldham.

.Heavy rain over the last several hours will cause the river to rise.

* Flood Warning for
  the Ohio River at McAlpine Upper.
* from Thursday afternoon until further notice.
* At 11:00 AM Tuesday the stage was 19.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by Thursday afternoon and
  continue to rise to near 23.9 feet by early Saturday morning.
* Impact...At 24.5 feet...Waldoah Beach and Transylvania Beach areas
  are cut off. River Road near Indian Hills Trail floods. Adams St.
  and Witherspoon Rd. closes.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 23.8
  feet on Mar 24 2002.

  the Ohio River at McAlpine Lower.
* from Friday afternoon to late Saturday night.
* At 11:00 AM Tuesday the stage was 50.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 55.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by Friday early afternoon and
  continue to rise to near 55.2 feet by early Saturday morning. The
  river will fall below flood stage by Saturday evening.
* Impact...At 55.0 feet...Parks and riverfront areas in Clarksville
  and New Albany flood. Some yards along US 31W (Dixie Highway) from
  Pleasure Ridge Park to West Point KY flood.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 55.1
  feet on Jan 8 2004.

* from late Wednesday night until further notice.
* At 11:00 AM Tuesday the stage was 40.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 42.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by early Thursday morning and
  continue to rise to near 43.1 feet by Saturday morning.
* Impact...At 42.0 feet...Agricultural flooding begins near Cloverport
  and Cannelton. Highway 66 floods near Derby and Dexter. Rocky Point
  Girl Scout camp is affected.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 43.2
  feet on Mar 25 2002.
