...The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a flood
warning for the following rivers in North Dakota...

  Souris River near Towner affecting McHenry County

For the Souris River Basin including Towner...Minor flooding is
expected.

.Lake Darling outflows have increased to match increased outflows from
Canadian reservoirs upstream. These releases will push the river
level at Towner into minor flood stage sometime Monday. The river level
should reach 53.5 feet by Saturday. Additional rises are possible
thereafter. At these river levels only minor impacts to agriculture
interests are felt.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety message...Do not drive into areas where water tops the
roadway. Turn around...Don`t drown.

* Flood Warning for The Souris River near Towner.
* Until further notice.
* Flood stage is 52.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is expected.
* Impact...At 54.0 feet...Flood problems begin, agricultural land and
  meadows affected. Moderate flood stage.
