FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR EAST KENTUCKY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE JACKSON KY
548 AM EDT MON MAY 4 2015

.DISCUSSION...STRONG HIGH PRESSURE WILL CONTINUE TO BE THE PRIMARY
PLAYER. THE COMBINATION OF WARM TEMPERATURES AND DRY AIR WILL
ALLOW FOR RELATIVE HUMIDITIES TO BOTTOM OUT GENERALLY BETWEEN 30
AND 35 PERCENT FOR MOST LOCATIONS THIS AFTERNOON. SOME AFTERNOON
DECOUPLING COULD ALLOW FOR A SLIGHT UPTICK IN WINDS...THOUGH ONLY
ON THE ORDER OF BETWEEN 10 AND 15 MPH. DRY WEATHER WILL PERSIST
THROUGH THE WEEK...WITH TEMPERATURES AND HUMIDITY GRADUALLY
INCREASING EACH DAY.
