THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL...SOUTH
CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO INCREASE IN COVERAGE TONIGHT AND
AFFECT MOST OF THE AREA. THE STRONGER STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF
NICKEL SIZE HAIL AND 50 MPH WINDS. HEAVY RAIN WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE
WITH THE STRONGER STORMS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

SEVERE STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP AFTER 1 PM ON SATURDAY AND
AFFECT LOCATIONS ALONG AND WEST OF I-135 SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND
EVENING. GOLF BALL SIZE HAIL...60 MPH WINDS AND A COUPLE TORNADOES
WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THE MORE INTENSE STORMS.

ON SUNDAY...THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY FOR SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND MOST
OF SOUTH-CENTRAL KANSAS WHERE SMALL HAIL AND 40 TO 50 MPH GUSTS
ARE BOTH POSSIBLE PRIMARILY ALONG...AND SOUTHEAST...OF THE FLINT
HILLS.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE FOR PRIMARILY SOUTH-CENTRAL
AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS ON WEDNESDAY WITH THUNDERSTORMS INCREASING
FOR ALL AREAS FROM WEDNESDAY NIGHT THRU THURSDAY NIGHT. A FEW
THUNDERSTORMS OCCURRING FROM WEDNESDAY NIGHT THRU THURSDAY NIGHT
MAY PRODUCE SOME SMALL HAIL AND 40 TO 50 MPH GUSTS. SPECIFICS
REGARDING THE STRENGTH OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE PROVIDED
EARLY NEXT WEEK.
