WATERS OF THE NEUSE RIVER...

THE AREAS AFFECTED INCLUDE...  NEUSE RIVER...

AT 141 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SHOWERS...CAPABLE
OF PRODUCING WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS. THESE SHOWERS WERE LOCATED ALONG A
LINE EXTENDING FROM 25 NM SOUTHWEST OF BLOUNTS BAY TO NEAR THE
VICINITY OF TRENT RIVER TO 10 NM NORTH OF THE VICINITY OF SLOCUM
CREEK TO NEAR THE MOUTH OF THE NEUSE RIVER...MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 10
KNOTS.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
THE VICINITY OF HANCOCK CREEK...THE VICINITY OF CLUBFOOT CREEK...
ORIENTAL...THE MOUTH OF THE NEUSE RIVER...THE VICINITY OF SLOCUM
CREEK...THE VICINITY OF TRENT RIVER AND MID POINT OF CHERRY
BRANCH-MINNESOTT BEACH FERRY TERMINAL.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS UP TO 33 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES...LIGHTNING STRIKES...AND HEAVY DOWNPOURS. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK
