SOUTHERLY WINDS BROUGHT INCREASING TEMPERATURES AND HUMIDITY TO
THE REGION. AFTERNOON HIGHS CLIMBED INTO THE UPPER 70S TO AROUND
80...UNDER PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES.

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS AFFECTED NORTHWESTERN WISCONSIN DURING
THE LATE AFTERNOON...AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT. RAINFALL AMOUNTS
AVERAGED AROUND A TENTH TO A QUARTER OF AN INCH...EXCEPT LOCALLY
HEAVIER WHERE THUNDERSTORMS OCCURRED.

.OVERNIGHT...

THE COLD FRONT MOVED SOUTHEAST THROUGH WISCONSIN...BRINGING
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ALONG WITH IT. A FEW SEVERE STORMS
PRODUCING LARGE HAIL WERE OBSERVED. THE PRECIPITATION ENDED ACROSS
WESTERN WISCONSIN SOON AFTER MIDNIGHT...AND EXITED MOST OF THE
STATE LATE IN THE NIGHT. SKIES CLEARED IN NORTHWEST AND WEST
CENTRAL WISCONSIN.

TEMPERATURES SO FAR RANGED FROM THE LOWER TO MID 40S ACROSS
NORTHWEST WISCONSIN...TO THE MIDDLE TO UPPER 50S ACROSS SOUTHERN
AND EASTERN WISCONSIN.

.FORECAST...

A COLD FRONT WILL STALL ACROSS NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS LATER TODAY
INTO TUESDAY. MOST OF THE DAY WILL SEE DRY CONDITIONS ACROSS
WISCONSIN. CHANCES FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL INCREASE
ACROSS NORTHERN ILLINOIS THIS AFTERNOON...AND BECOME LIKELY AS
THEY SPREAD INTO SOUTHERN WISCONSIN TONIGHT INTO TUESDAY MORNING.

NORTHERN WISCONSIN WILL CONTINUE TO SEE QUIET WEATHER. MILD
TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE INLAND...WITH COOLER READINGS NEAR LAKE
MICHIGAN AND LAKE SUPERIOR.

THE FRONT WILL SHIFT SLOWLY NORTHWARD AS A WARM FRONT TUESDAY
NIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY NIGHT ACROSS THE REGION. THIS FEATURE WILL
CONTINUE TO BRING CHANCES FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS.

SOUTH WINDS WILL BRING WARM TEMPERATURES BACK INTO THE REGION
LATER WEDNESDAY INTO THURSDAY. A COLD FRONT WILL THEN MOVE EAST
THROUGH THE REGION THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY...BRINGING THE NEXT
GOOD CHANCES FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS.
